How we use your personal information

We may also improve your shopping experience by allowing Shopify to link your account to other Shopify services that you may choose to use. In this case, Shopify processes your information in accordance with its own Privacy Policy and Consumer Privacy Policy.

We may use your personal information for marketing and promotional purposes, such as sending marketing, advertising and promotional communications by email, text message or post, and displaying advertisements for products or services. This may include using your personal information to better tailor the Services and the advertising you see on our Site and on other websites. If you reside in the European Economic Area, the legal basis for these processing activities is our legitimate interest in selling our products in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Children’s information

The Services are not intended for use by children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. As of the Effective Date of this Privacy Policy, we are not aware that we “share” or “sell” (as these terms are defined under applicable law) the personal information of individuals under 16 years of age.

Security and retention of your information

Please note that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee “perfect security”. In addition, any information you send to us may not be secure during transmission. International users

Please note that we may transfer, store and process your personal information outside the country where you live. Employees located in these countries, as well as third-party service providers and partners, will also process your personal information.

If we transfer your personal information outside Europe, we rely on recognised transfer mechanisms, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, or, where applicable, equivalent agreements adopted by the competent authority in the United Kingdom, unless the information is transferred to a country that is deemed to provide an adequate level of protection.
