Dimex is a Finnish workwear brand built around the needs of real working life. Our workwear is designed and developed in Finland, in close collaboration with the people who wear it every day. By testing our products in real working environments and demanding Nordic conditions, we make sure they deliver where it matters most – on the job.

Our products are made in carefully selected production facilities that are regularly audited. Today, 35% of our production takes place in Europe, and we're continuously working to increase that share.

Raised by the north wind

Finland is a country you can feel in your bones. Summer days reaching 30 degrees give way to winter temperatures of minus 30 degrees, without anyone batting an eye. Neither the collapse of the unbearable heat nor the biting cold of winter is enough to stop us from carrying on with life and work.

Our ancestors didn't settle in the most remote corners of the North because the conditions were pleasant, but despite their harshness.

The Dimex story

Roots of determination

Dimex was founded in Leppävirta, Finland, in 1982, when Timo Krogerus and his business partners established Leppävirran Kuljettajapukine, a company specialising in workwear manufacturing.

The early years were challenging, but determination and perseverance kept the company moving forward. Customers were sought out personally across Finland. In 1986, Timo's brother Jukka Krogerus joined him as a business partner, and the company began to grow steadily, one customer relationship at a time.

From the very beginning, products were developed in close collaboration with their users to ensure they performed in real working environments and demanding conditions. In 1995, the product name Dimex was introduced, later becoming the name of the company itself.

As a family business run by Jukka and Sirkka Krogerus and their daughters Riita and Tuire, Dimex grew into a well-known Finnish workwear brand.

Dimex today

Today, Dimex is a globally operating expert in heavy-duty workwear, proudly carrying its roots in Leppävirta wherever it goes.

A lot has changed, but the attitude remains the same. The determination and perseverance that built the company are still reflected in both the people behind Dimex and those who wear its products.
