I visited the Tampere Security Fair last week with about ten thousand other guests.

The main idea that stuck with me from the event was that Safety seems to be very strongly associated with the clothing you wear, rather than the feeling you have in your mind.

If this is really the case, then there is no need to worry. There seems to be enough clothes on the market for all of us. There were about a dozen workwear brands on display, depending on how you count. One thing that really couldn't be avoided was the visibility of High Visibility products in all departments. On the other hand, that's a good thing, because if they weren't visible in the departments, how would they be on construction sites?

In the last few days, autumn has reminded me of its arrival and as the evenings get darker, it is easy to see the safety brought by HV products in a tangible way. Happily, many sports enthusiasts are also taking advantage of the visibility brought by HV products. After thinking more closely about the fair's offerings and especially the new products coming to the market, a question came to my mind:

What are some things that can differentiate you in the Finnish market when products are somewhat similar to each other?

There are certainly several factors. One of the most important ones, however, is the availability of products and the speed of delivery. With several years of experience, I can say that winter still comes as a surprise to many people. So does the need for clothing that is suitable for the weather. Surprisingly, this also applies to winter tires for many people.

The Finnish workwear market must be able to deliver products quickly, even if from the supplier's perspective the customer's needs are predictable and decisions can be made well in advance. However, the customer makes decisions about satisfying their needs at their own pace, which we can only try to influence, each seller to the best of their ability. Recently, the customer's decision-making has been increasingly guided by some concrete need or problem that needs to be solved. Not so much old ways of working or habits in procurement like; 'This is what has always been purchased at this time and for everyone.'

When a procurement decision is made, a week can be a long time for someone waiting.

In our approach to maintaining customer satisfaction and gaining new customers, delivery speed and reliability are the cornerstones of our competitiveness. I believe that in this market, our ability to deliver products according to customer requirements makes us the best choice for customers.
