Logistics fair behind us and a few more to come!

Being at a trade fair is always a welcome change. It's great to be able to talk to customers and get tips on products. Of course, there's a lot of business talk there and people try to talk to new customers, but there's also a lot of stuff going on that's not strictly business-related.

For this fair, our designers and seamstresses conjured up a new eye-catcher or show stopper. It's a neon red evening dress. Men in particular were in awe of the dress and marveled at the latest workwear fashion. Many imagined wearing the dress on their mistresses. Although at least one remarked that they probably need to get the mistress first.

Our department had a gravel-making competition. It kept us busy. It got boys and men, girls and women excited to test their accuracy and strength. It was almost competitive and many had to give it more than one try. Advice was not spared and voices could occasionally rise in an agitated state of mind. The gravel was dusty and sweat was flying. At the end of each day, the best results of the day were reviewed. Congratulations to the winners!

One thing got many visitors serious. The raffle asked what would be a suitable name for the new jacket. It could take a while and the pen would move to the side of the mouth to entice the mind with an option that would rock the mind. I told many that you don't have to wear it if you don't think of it, but the tenacity of a Finn is admirable. You don't give up once you've decided to try!

The sweet spot at the trade fair stand was, of course, our enthusiastic trade fair crowd. It almost felt like a market as the trade fair hosts and hostesses enticed the crowd to try on clothes and participate in competitions.

Welcome to join our fair mania at the autumn fairs too!
