We have modified, renewed and refined our ways of working in recent years. We have clarified in more detail where we are going and where we would like to go and how we could try to get there. In this change, we have learned to rejoice in successes even better. As difficult as it may seem to say, especially without the word but, 2012 was a good year for us. It is difficult for us Finns to say this. What if things do not go well in the coming years? There are many sayings, for example: crying over the joy of having fun and so on, which negate successes. However, I think we must have the courage to rejoice in successes and say it out loud. We had the third good year in a row.

Have we had challenges and challenging times? There have been, as in life and working life in general. I can reveal that we have even had problems and difficult moments. Those are part of life. Perhaps realizing this will give us an extra boost to do things. Of course, the economic situation in the world and through it in Finland affects even Leppävirta. It doesn't make a dent in our case. In any case, it hasn't plummeted like it did at the end of 2008. The situation has remained better. We have stubbornly and ruthlessly focused on our own work. It is easier to influence that than the world economy.

HAPPY YEAR 2013

We have started to build a good year 2013. We assume that 2013 will be a good year. We have no reason or intention to be arrogant. There is no reason to assume that the economic situation in the world/in Finland will start to improve rapidly. This is a fact. Competition is also fierce in our industry. It is part of a market economy. That is a good thing. Our competitors are doing a good job. There are great companies in the workwear industry in Finland. We have entered 2013 enthusiastically and courageously. We are even brave enough to say it out loud.

I am sure that this year will also bring challenges and there may be problems here and there. It is not always pleasant. Sometimes we are in a discomfort zone in life. I am also sure that the year that has begun will also offer successes and thus joy. Since 2012, I have been particularly happy that our work well-being has remained at a good level. We have a spirit of doing. Maintaining and developing it is particularly important.

I would like to thank our customers, partners and Dimex employees for 2012. I wish everyone a HAPPY start to 2013.
