Instead of having my face glued to a bright light bulb or pulling maxis at the gym, this winter I have been smoothing out the winter energy fluctuations with hygge. Hygge is a Danish term. The Danes are the happiest people in the world. Hygge is closely associated with warm blankets, avoiding housework, candlelight, red wine and tea. The feeling of winter and darkness.

Because hygge is so trendy, you have to be careful not to try to be the best hygge person of all. Because we compare ourselves so much on social media, things can easily turn into a competition. In addition to being an active mother, a successful businesswoman, and training for my third triathlon, I also meditate every day. I am extremely efficient, but oh so present (editor's note: the previous sentences may contain exaggerations and even lies, no joke). I appreciate ambition, but relaxation should be maintained so that we can be good to ourselves and others, at work and at home.

There is still something truly valuable on the other side of social media. It is not competition but togetherness. Is social media a team sport after all? Social media has its own tribe. In our case, the Dimex tribe. There, people don't cry their eyes out drinking celery juice and doing crossfit or meditating a meter above the ground or criticizing and blaming current phenomena. A working woman or man puts on Dimex in the morning, goes to work, takes a picture if there is something particularly noteworthy. They also take a picture when they just show that they are working here and are wearing Dimex.

At Dimex, we want to be the best, but not frantically, not just on the surface. With Dimexasente. Relaxed performance. Even though we have grown this year, I can even use the word tremendously, there is room for improvement in every corner. It's not ready yet, but let's enjoy those good stories and results. Let's hygge in this moment as a tribe.

Thank you to all Dimex people around Finland and the world, to those who sell Dimex or supply materials or sew or design our clothes. Thank you to those who decide to continue their partnership with us next year and to those who become new members of our tribe. Thank you to those who put Dimex on in the morning. We will certainly do our best now and next year, with Dimex.

Think of it as a wonderful thing for the Danes too. Next year they could be even happier if they start using Dimex there.

Merry Christmas and the best New Year!
