Good service / Bad service

A few years ago I came back from a summer job in Australia and had a layover at Vienna airport. I wondered what the café worker had against me – he answered my questions curtly and was rude to me. As I was sipping my coffee I remembered something important: the man wasn’t rude, Australians had just been so friendly.

Kindness is, in principle, a simple thing, but in reality good service starts from a company’s values and its management and operating practices.

At Dimex we’ve been toying with the idea of superior service – the kind that always leaves the customer with a positive feeling. It’s also important to remember that even if we gave every customer a foot massage at the start of a meeting, they still might not feel they’d received good service. And it should be noted that the Asian way of bowing deeper and saying yes even when the real answer is no does not make service superior in Finland.

This autumn we’ll be looking into how Dimex, as a Finnish company, can deliver a high-quality brand product spiced up with better service. Development is never finished.

The holidays brought enthusiasm and new drive for work, and now it’s good to head towards autumn in a positive mood. Our will is in the right place and we have plenty of faith in the future!

Please give us feedback on our service and products – you can never get too much of it.
