Introducing our Sample Machinists

I asked the Dimex crew to describe each other. We did it sneakily and anonymously. We really went to town praising each other behind our backs. We’re now introducing the team on the website, team by team and by job role, with photos and descriptions written by colleagues. There are 23 of us. The average age is 39. Ten were born in the 1980s, seven in the 70s, three in the 60s and three in the 50s. We’ve already introduced the production team and the pattern makers. Now it’s the turn of the the sample seamstresses. Our seamstresses make sample pieces for catalogue products and customer models, support product design and help make products suitable for serial production, as well as repair products that have been returned as complaints. At Kaija’s (a member of Dimex since 1988) has good ideas. She is reliable and clear. With solid professional skills, she succeeds. Ilona (a member of Dimex since 2011) lives up to her name.
