In August I will have been at Dimex for 19 years. Time has flown. Those years include all kinds of situations, events and people. My own job description has also changed nicely over the years. I haven’t had a chance to grow moss on my chair.
We talk about the Dimex tribe, and we are its origin and core. Our tight-knit sales team includes people of many ages and personalities. I’d like to introduce them to you from my own perspective; we work so closely together every day that you could call us a sort of Dimex family.
Eija has been in the company for half a year longer than I have. Her area of responsibility is the Outlet. She works there every day, energetically, and hardly anyone leaves the door without a Dimex product under their arm. Eija is a top-notch customer service person. In her free time, Eija reads a lot and leads a fitness club.
Taivo is our sales hotshot in Estonia. A few times a year Taivo visits the Leppävirta office. He is responsible for the entire Baltic region and his office is in Tallinn. Taivo is a cheerful Dimexian who speaks excellent Finnish. In his free time he skis and cycles.
Joonas is our IT nerd. He originally came to work in production, and from there this bright young man was snapped up into the sales team. Joonas enjoys working in Leppävirta surrounded by women. His area is Northern Finland, which he tours a couple of times a year. Joonas is an invaluable help when it comes to computers and software problems. In his free time he goes fishing.
Jenni has been working for us for a few years and during that time she has already managed to bring a couple of teenagers into the world. Jenni can do anything. She takes on tasks very calmly and calmly and does them with ease. Things just happen. In her free time, she does a lot of exercise. You can't compete with Jenni on how to pole dance...
Kim is our sales hotshot in Tampere. He’s already clocked a few years with us. Kim drops by our Leppävirta office every now and then, but mostly he’s out on the road meeting customers. Kim is very calm, composed and professional, but there’s definitely a twinkle in his eye :) Kim is a whiz at Russian. As for sports, I know he’s done wrestling.
Lotta came to help us a year ago, for example at the outlet. It so happened that the lively young woman stayed with us and started studying with an apprenticeship last autumn. Lotta is seen a lot in the customer area, for example by phone and email. Lotta has a couple of cats, who keep Lotta's evenings surprising. Cars and horses seem to be close to Lotta's heart as well.
Jasmin is our latest and youngest addition. She joined our team to help out last autumn, and as a very handy doer she started studying for a business qualification through an apprenticeship at the beginning of the year. Like Lotta, she also deals a lot with customers by phone and email. Jasmin is also an animal lover – she has two cats at home.
For each of us in the team it’s important that our customers receive good and cheerful service from us. That’s the core of our service. We constantly welcome feedback on that, just as we do on the concrete Dimex products. It’s also important to us that our work community consists of colleagues who value each other. In my opinion, this is something we do well.
But without you, dear customers, we wouldn’t be here at Dimex, so let’s stay in touch and see you around :)
