This spring we have been delighted to see how our clothes have become part of today's POP culture. The Justimus boys have taken workwear as their own, and also highlighted with their YouTube hits that Dimex is worn regardless of age. Inspired by this, I decided to take a deep dive and see how Dimex clothes are featured on the most popular social media platform of the moment - Instagram.
Instagram is a free photo-sharing service and social network that was launched in October 2010. The service allows users to share photos, comment on other users' photos, and like them. The service is used on mobile devices. Instagram currently has about one hundred million registered users worldwide.
Images can be identified under a specific topic with a hashtag. The #dimex hashtag also yielded a surprisingly positive number of a few hundred hits out of millions of images. Young Finns, and even foreign ones, at work, wearing Dimex workwear.
