Dimex’s Tuire asked us new board members, Pertti and me, to write a blog. I immediately agreed and boasted that as a young girl I used to write rhyming poems. I thought I’d take this on as a BIG challenge and do it in poem format, but then I saw a rap artist on the morning news and thought that a rocking rap would suit dynamic Dimex better than a heavy poem. Don’t you think?
If only I could compose and perform, we could put this on YouTube. For now I just hope some rapper picks up these lyrics and records them :). I’d be happy to join the angel choir in the background.
Right then, let’s try to give birth to the first rap lyrics of my life.

How do we get Finland back on its feet?
By working, of course. Roll up your sleeves and get stuck into the job.
The whole day – that’s your very own workday. Be proud of your work, even if you don’t always get to bathe in thanks.
All of that moves us forward. And together we’ll get Finland back on its feet!
When the boss gives you a task, throw on your work jacket. And what does it say on the label? It says Dimex.
Pull on your overalls too, that’s when the job really starts.
Work hard all day long, and in the evening you’ll have no worries at all. Do everything with a good attitude, and the boss will be all smiles with you too. And everything just flows. Flows all by itself.
Work makes you feel good – and sometimes leaves a hollow in your stomach.
That’s when you need to remember to rest and nourish yourself!
Then you’ll have the energy again, to do what the company pays you for.
Everyone pulls together. We’ll move Finland forward together.
Sometimes problems and worries get you down, but you mustn’t let them get the upper hand.
There’s a solution to everything. That’s how it’s always been. So trust that today as well.
When the day’s work is done, the rush and hustle are over.
It’s time to hang your Dimex gear on the hook and head home singing. Or whatever you do – just be happy
And recharge yourself, just like you recharge your phone. That way things get done. Almost by themselves.
So let’s enjoy this – a whole life!
Which includes work and rest. And for seasoning, fun and laughter.
