Provincial artist Ulmanen works with Dimex! Has the industry expanded to include art or even design!?

The name of the job is a joint project with designer Henri Ulmanen.
We wanted to look at Dimex's idea of designing workwear from a slightly different angle and included
to expand our consciousness with Ulmanendesign. Is it a completely legal stimulant? Henri has designed, among other things, a very impressive and award-winning sunglasses
collection, in addition to that he works as the provincial artist of South Savo.
We have met a few times in recent months, and the jacket, which goes by the working title Dimex – more, has already seen the light of day, sewn by the artist himself.
The jacket is a surprise, surprisingly black, but I'm almost green with envy at the artist's versatility.
Quite quickly, we had an image of a product that had vibes and elements from different worlds, from where we ourselves had sourced them.
We speculated, among other things, on what Finnish coolness would mean in the nature of such a product, viewed from a positive perspective.
At least grit, perseverance, fight and Jouni Hynynen came to the fore!
So maybe the words home + industry are also nerdy.
I personally see influences from both uniforms and biker clothing in the prototype, and it looks good, at least to the viewer.
I'm really looking forward to the final product taking shape after the summer holidays so I can put it on and enjoy it for at least a little while.
Then it's time to think about the commercial aspects of the product. How much can be sold and through which distribution channel?
For me, a lot of added value has already been created just from the journey towards the finished product. It's really educational to follow a different way of working.
The artistry has been a pretty efficient job. It wasn't a beret-headed painter from the skyline who came to visit, but
A real Finnish guy came out of the blue!
