Asfalttikallio trusts Dimex

At Asfalttikallio, the work is physically demanding and the days often run long. That’s why a lot is expected from workwear. “Our clothes are subjected to heavy wear from chemicals, heat, sweat and other factors. They need to be durable and high-quality to ensure that the protection lasts until the end of the day,” says Aleksi Rajahalme, Site Manager at Asfalttikallio.

According to Jussi Peltomäki, foreman at Asfalttikallio, Dimex workwear meets the demands of their work well. “When the work is physical and the conditions are warm, it’s important that workwear is breathable, lightweight, flexible and comfortable to wear. The partnership between Asfalttikallio and Dimex is now in its third year, and Asfalttikallio has been very satisfied with the collaboration. “Everything has worked seamlessly. Customer service is very important to us. It’s essential that our contact person is easy to reach and that changes can be made smoothly,” says Antti Lyytinen, Occupational Safety Manager at Asfalttikallio.

The season at Asfalttikallio often gets off to a hectic start, which makes it important to have a workwear partner that can respond quickly and flexibly. “It’s often only at the very last minute that we know how many employees we’ll have and what our workwear needs will be. It’s great that Dimex is able to respond so quickly,” says Site Manager Rajahalme.

Day-to-day operations are also made easier by the fact that the garments are delivered directly from Dimex, complete with Asfalttikallio’s own logos and text.

According to Lyytinen, in addition to quality and a well-functioning partnership, Finnish origin is also an important factor for Asfalttikallio. “We value Finnish products and the fact that the clothes are designed in Finland. That’s why they work so well for us, too.”
